Jonah, an out-of-work, aging actor, thinks he’s all washed up. He’s got no agent, no famous parents, and no call from the casting director who saw him in his conservatory showcase four years ago and said he “wasn’t bad.” It seemed like there was nothing else he could do— until he met an executive for a production company on a night out. The only problem? They’re only producing sports.

Good thing Jonah is a method actor.

Gathering a community of girls and gays, Jonah and his actor friends decided to blue light as New York's newest exhibition baseball team. But how does a group of East Coast eclectics appeal to the greater baseball crowd? And how can they stay true to themselves in the face of a world that they aren’t welcome in?
